Podcast Episode #3: Gwen O'Looney
Gwen speaks about her professional career to date, programmes she runs and how technology can support those with disabilities.

Gwen has been working in the sports and leisure industry for over 28 years in a variety of roles including management, personal training, and activity coordination. Having taken the role as Sports Administrator with Dun Laoghaire Rathdown Sports Partnership, she began her current role as Acting Sports Inclusion Disability Officer in December 2022.
She now collaborates with a range of partner organisations, schools, local groups & disability services and individuals to increase participation in sport and physical activity for people with a disability in the County.
Gwen is passionate about creating inclusive and accessible pathways within sport & activity for all. A proportion of her time is spent coordinating sustainable initiatives with local stakeholders in disability sport but she also spends time on the ground managing a range of events and initiatives. Some of which include Woodlands for Health, Water Camps for Children with a disability, a range of
disability awareness training workshops for clubs, children learn to cycle programmes and events & programmes with local disability services.
